Austin Butler Wore Haider Ackermann To The 'Dune: Part Two' New York Premiere

Some of you haven’t been all that impressed with Austin Butler’s style during this ‘Dune: Part Two’ promo tour, which in part could be due to judging his looks in comparison to Timothée Chalamet.

To me, that’s like comparing apples to oranges.

Austin has always been a classic suit wearing kinda guy, and Timothée is all about those unexpected fashion moments.

Well, it looks like Austin may have been taking notes, and numbers, because the actor got in touch with Timothée’s long-time collaborator Haider Ackermann, who designed this ivory tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo trousers, and white shirt with crystal studded cuff especially for Austin.

Yes, it is still a tuxedo, but it is unlike the Fear of God, Louis Vuitton, Valentino and Gucci suits we have seen before.

Not only does this feel like Haider Ackermann’s ultra-modern reinterpretation of classic formal wear, I also feels like it has French romanticism at its core.

This is on par with this Louis Vuitton look for the Paris premiere.

I love how Austin had a complementary moment with Zendaya as well.

David Yurman jewels completed his look.
