I know some of you are saying calm down Catherine, but you know I am a sucker for velvet, especially a mesmerising blue velvet gown like this.
But it’s not just the velvet, I love how Léa has brought a touch of Old Hollywood glamour to this red carpet which has been dominated by a warrior vibes thanks to our apocalyptic fashion queen Zendaya.
Did this Louis Vuitton bustier gown need the folded short cape accented with an embroidered silver bow clasp?
Yes. Otherwise, we would have been comparing this gown to Deepika Padukone’s Louis Vuitton look from the 2023 Academy Museum Gala.

This is the most excited I have been for a Léa Seydoux look in some time.
