Penelope Cruz attended the Madrid photocall for ‘Ferrari’ held at the Hotel Santo Mauro on Monday in Spain.
I just don’t know how many more of these Chanel boucle suits I can take, as they feel so at odds with everything that is truly innate to Penelope.
I don’t want to say that this look is ageing the actress, because I believe that Anya Taylor-Joy would put a playful spin on this ‘60s inspired Chanel Pre-Fall 2024 look, and really make it work for her.
But on Penelope, it doesn’t make sense to me.
The Spanish actress has been a Chanel ambassador since 2018, and aside from her Met Gala gown I couldn’t name a single memorable or standout look, but I will always point to her 2023 David Di Donatello Awards Dolce & Gabbana gown every single time.
