Tilda Swinton Wore Haider Ackermann For Jean Paul Gaultier Couture To The 'Problemista' New York Screening

Tilda Swinton Wore Haider Ackermann For Jean Paul Gaultier Couture To The 'Problemista' New York Screening

Let’s be brutally honest.  2023 wasn’t a vintage year for Tilda Swinton with regards to looks she served up on the red carpet, because 90% of the time we were wanting more.

For the New York screening of her new film, ‘Problemista,’ Tilda ensured that our fashion hunger was well and truly fulfilled, when she stepped onto the red carpet at the Village East Cinema yesterday evening wearing this Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2023 Haute Couture suit, which designed by her friend and collaborator, Haider Ackermann.

To say that I have missed moments like this would be the understatement of the century.

I mean, who else is going to pull off a black tuxedo accented with a royal blue blouse accented with faux paradise feather embroidery?

I could not name anyone else.

I’m amazed at how she doesn’t get lost in all that detail, but when you have such a commanding presence as Tilda, and you have a fashion resume that is daringly eclectic, this is a literal walk in the park for her.

The pose made this feel even more regal, and she sold this look with even more conviction than the gorgeous model.

Thank God my queen is back.

This is what you get when you opt out of tweed coat dresses.
