Recent history – front row at Alexander McQueen, the Nasdaq Day Of The Girl 2023 Market Opening Bell, and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party – informs us that red might be one of Yara Shahidi’s favourites.
The actress wore a red Balmain Spring 2024 pleated and ruched, rose accented top and skirt which showcases that Olivier Rousteing can do classic romanticism in the most sophisticated and modern way.
There were so many great looks at this event, but Yara really stood out.
You can say it was because of the colour, as most of the attendees wore black, but you could also point to the stunning Cartier jewels which amped up the goddess energy.
I wish I had seen this in motion because I feel that the pleated skirt would emphasise the delicate femininity of the look.
Yara’s glam team really understood the assignment. I can’t gush about this enough.
