Stylist Carlos Nazario announced Friday he was stepping down from his role as i-D magazine’s global fashion director, a position he has held since 2019.
In an Instagram post, Nazario stated that he was leaving the publication “effective immediately,” and relayed his gratitude for the magazine’s editorial team.
“I am looking forward to the new chapter of this legendary platform and am confident that i-D will continue to be a voice for the creative industry and our culture at large,” the post read.
Nazario is the latest senior editor to depart the magazine following Karlie Kloss’ acquisition of the title in November 2023. He joins Alastair McKimm who stepped down from the role of editor-in-chief in February.
The stylist will continue his work styling covers for Harper’s Bazaar as style director, a role he assumed last November.
