The Oppenheimer star wore a gold, gravity-defying Schiaparelli gown that reminds us of an Oscar itself, but of course, a way chicer version. The She paired it with Alexandre Birman shoes, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Tiffany & Co. jewelry. She wore her hair in a similarly grand fishtail-braided bun.
Blunt’s date to the Oscars was, of course, her husband, John Krasinski, who looked quite dapper himself in an all-white tux with a white bow tie.
Emily Blunt is up for best supporting actress for her role as Kitty Oppenheimer, the wife of the titular scientist Robert Oppenheimer. And while her career is already been iconic, Blunt told People that becoming an Academy Award nominee is a thrilling milestone.
“I feel like I’ve been lighter than air the last couple of weeks,” she told the magazine. “I feel so happy.”
