Kate Winslet is back in the spotlight promoting her new film, ‘The Regime,’ and judging by her looks for the New York premiere and her guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ her new M.O. is tailoring.

At times, Givenchy has a reputation for being a label that has a grunginess about it, but we can’t forget that they can also be relied upon for understated and timeless looks, as affirmed by this white double-breasted jacket with sleek satin lapels paired with black trousers.
You’ll either feel that the look is too oversized or like how this pushes Kate onto a new sartorial level.
Kate will always do fashion on her terms, so I don’t mind the oversized nature of it all.

Double-breasted jackets are Kate’s go-to for the moment.
On this occasion we got a bit more flair from this Dolce & Gabbana blazer which was accented with a floral appliqué, along with some sensuality from the sheer top and an edge from the leather pants.
