Katie Holmes joined Rose Byrne on the red carpet for The Roundabout Theatre Company’s 2024 Gala held at Ziegfeld Ballroom on Monday in New York City.
The thing with Katie’s red carpet style is, you never know what you’re going to get.
I wasn’t expecting a gala gown, even for an event like this, because her style is laid back these days.
So much so, that we often feel like the actress attends some event straight after running errands in the city.
On this occasion, she wore a simple elegant dress from Brandon Maxwell’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection with a draped detail which was emulating the spirit of a monumental roman marble draped female sculpture.
I know some of you have already discounted this look because of the white rose applique black pumps, but with any Katie Holmes look you have to take the rough with the smooth.
