Following Zendaya’s red carpet moments is quite literally my job and, thankfully, the 27-year-old Dune star never lets me get bored doing it.
Between the Dune press tour and Oscars week, Zendaya and Law Roach have been busy pulling show-stopping archival gowns and robot suits for a variety of photo calls, but even the Emmy-winning actor just wants to throw on a pair of jeans every now and again. On March 7, Zendaya turned a pair of cuffed wide-leg jeans into a red carpet statement, pairing the casual denim with a sheer floral corset for the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles.
Apart from her white pumps, Zendaya wore the couture Jean Paul Gaultier look nearly exactly the same way it was originally presented on the runway for spring/summer 2020, down to Z’s striking silver neck piece and arm cuffs. Though she kept the layered silver belts, Zendaya wore a few less bangles and nixed the the extra necklaces. As for glam, Zendaya went for a bronzy glow and a bit of a wet look to her chic flipped-out bob.
