Is Dua Lipa making long sleeved silver embroidered dresses with a cut-out her thing?
If her custom Chanel dress – inspired by the Métiers d’art 2023/24 collection – worn to the 2024 TIME100 Gala, and her Courrèges dress for the 2024 Grammys are anything to go by, then the answer appears to be yes.
Even with the black satin bow and a white resin brooch, the feeling of déjà vu is still strong, but that could also be attributed to Dua sporting the same hairstyle and facial expression.
This Chanel floral guipure lace dress embroidered with crystals and aluminium rings is beautiful with an air of classic romanticism which the aforementioned dress didn’t have, but I’m not 100% sure Dua is selling it to me.
This might be due to me having to get used to this new style of hers.
