After a week’s break, Lewis Hamilton was back in the paddock for the Japanese F1 Grand Prix this past weekend.

Lewis Hamilton’s first look was a classic red, white, and blue long sleeve rugby top from the TOMMY JEANS International Games collection paired with a classic pair of distressed jeans from the TOMMY JEANS Spring 2024 collection along ERL sneakers.

If you’re cynic, you could say that Lewis is wearing these threads because Tommy Hilfiger is the official apparel partner for his Mercedes F1 team, but you only have to look at the hip hop influences, and the styling to see that this look is very on brand for the British driver.

The same can’t be said for this next look from the Prada Spring 2024 collection.

While I love the subtle red reference to his 2025 F1 team, Ferrari, I’m not sold on the military inspiration of this red multi-pocket gilet.

Granted, he is going to war with these other drivers, who are trying to outdo his legacy, but I don’t think this suits him at all.

I do love an oversized look on Lewis which is very much his thing, but the gilet and Prada shirt appear way too big for him.

This look made me think of Kodi Smit-McPhee’s Bottega Veneta 2022 Met Gala outfit.

Mostly because of the colour palette, but also because the model has the same look.
