Nicole Kidman was honoured with an American Film Institute (AFI) Life Achievement Award on Saturday in Hollywood, which was presented by Meryl Streep.
On stage Nicole said, “it is a privilege to make films.”
This may not have been the Oscars, but the Australian actress served up Oscar night glamour wearing a custom Balenciaga creation generously adorned with golden sequins.
What I love most about this look is that nostalgic glamour mixed with a plenty of modern sensibilities, which has been Nicole’s style trajectory since she has been working with celebrity stylist Jason Bolden.
While Kim Kardashian is still stuck on the Balenciaga pantaleggings leggings and catsuits, I’m glad the likes of Nicole Kidman and Michelle Yeoh have teams that push the label creatively.
