Ariana Grande‘s Met Gala 2024 look is less Wicked, more fairy princess. But, we guess, that’s Glinda’s whole vibe.

Grande floated onto the carpet in an ethereal custom Loewe gown by Jonathan Anderson, with a pleated white skirt and shimmering sleeveless pearlescent bodice. She accented the look with a pair of white 3-D wings on her temples, which her makeup artist Michael Anthony told Vogue he designed himself for the artist (the rest of her makeup was from her own REM line).

It’s safe to say Grande has had a big 2024, and we aren’t even halfway through the year yet. In March she released her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, her first in nearly four years, which premiered at number one on the Billboard 200. And, of course, she has been promoting part one of Wicked, which she will appear in as Glinda in November.

Grande, along with Wicked costar Cynthia Erivo, has been hitting all the awards shows lately to promote the film, appearing in perfectly coordinated outfits to represent their characters (Grande in Glinda pink, Ervio in Elphaba green).

For their Met appearance, they switched it up, with Erivo donning a black gown with suit details and delicate pink flower petals.
