I love Cardi B, and she will forever be one of the queens of the Met Gala for me, but her custom Windowsen gown was one of my least favourites on what was a very underwhelming night.
There was so much mass, but there was nothing intriguing about this, as Cardi is so completely overwhelmed by fabric that you can’t appreciate to designer, you can’t decipher the theme. It’s just a whole lot of nothing.
As you know I love a big gown moment, but this was all bark and no bite, all show and no substance, all talk and no action.
This was a rare miss for me.
But from the neck up, she looked breathtaking, with the assistance of her Kamyen Jewellery and A.Jaffe emerald and diamonds.
