After serving up her annual BDOTY look at the ‘Rumors’ Cannes Film Festival premiere the night before, Cate Blanchett attended the photocall on Sunday, opting to wear Louis Vuitton once again.
Keeping the gold theme going, the Australia actress upheld her commitment to sustainable fashion wearing a custom gold paillette sweater made of repurposed sequins.
Leather trousers are always a hard sell for me, but I don’t mind them with this look as it’s clear there was a mood and an energy here which I’m vibing with.
A Louis Vuitton ear cuff and leather pumps completed her look.
After-Party
Cate’s Balmain Fall 2024 look was more intriguing for the silhouette of the embroidered top, and I’m glad she didn’t style this look with the baggy leather trousers we saw on the runway.
