Coco Rocha brought her signature glamour to the second week of the Cannes Film Festival, shining at both the amfAR gala last night, and the premiere of ‘The Most Precious of Cargoes’ this evening.
Notably, Coco’s appearance seemed to underscore the recent Met Gala’s missed opportunity.
While the co-chairs Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Lopez did not fully embrace the ‘Garden of Time’ theme, Coco, who was not invited to the Met Gala, embodied it flawlessly at Cannes.
The Met Gala’s loss was certainly the Cannes Film Festival’s gain, as Coco Rocha’s presence and style were nothing short of extraordinary in this exquisite custom Cheney Chan gown, which made a striking statement at the penultimate premiere of the festival.
Someone said on Coco’s Instagram, “Everything can be a Vogue magazine cover with Coco Rocha.”
And this statement rings true, as selecting a single picture of Coco Rocha is always a challenge because she offers a multitude of stunning options.
Her ability to navigate and thrive in voluminous and sculptural designs is unmatched.
Where many might get lost in such intricate fashion, Coco excels, bringing life and elegance to the most challenging creations.
Another look to add to my best of the festival. This list is going to be longer than I anticipated and we still have Elle Fanning, and possibly Gemma Chan to come.
