Doja Cat Wore Vetements To The 2024 Met Gala

If you had seen any pictures of Doja Cat over the weekend wearing nothing but a bed sheet and a thong, or a clear plastic poncho, you may have been genuinely worried about what the singer was going to wear on the red carpet for the 2024 Met Gala.

Those fears were about to be realised when she was spotted leaving her hotel wearing nothing but a bathrobe and towel on her head, but I said to myself, “surely, she’s not going to present a look we have already seen from Rita Ora,” especially when Doja’s inspiration appears to be Bianca Censori at this present time.

But it looks like the hotel exit look was a decoy, as Doja appeared on the red carpet wearing a wet look maxi t-shirt from Vetements.

I don’t want to admit it, but I don’t hate this.

On the red carpet she said, “I knew everyone was going to do flowers, and my flower of choice is the most used flower which is cotton, and so I wanted to a white t-shirt also because a white t-shirt is timeless, it felt very poetic to choose this, and I knew it wasn’t going to blend in too much, and I don’t like to blend in.”

So as basic as it may appear, the look was actually very well thought out and on theme.
