President of the Jury Greta Gerwig attended the closing ceremony of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, delivering a finale that highlighted her evolving style.
Initially, my attention was focused on Eva Green for this festival, but Greta Gerwig emerged as the unexpected style icon of the festival, captivating us with her sartorial journey.
Despite a slight misstep with Balenciaga Couture, Greta’s fashion choices throughout the festival were memorable and admirable.
She concluded the festival in a custom Celine gown that’s giving US President Gerwig meets French President Macron for a state visit at the Élysée Palace.
The gown was stately, majestic, and ceremonious, embodying the grandeur of the occasion.
The look was completed with Chopard jewels, sealing her status as a true style star of the festival. Well done, Madam President.
