Greta Gerwig Wore Chanel Haute Couture To The ‘Megalopolis’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Greta Gerwig’s meteoric rise on the red carpet continued at the Cannes Film Festival premiere for ‘Megalopolis’ this evening in France.

I know that some of you aren’t the biggest fan of Virginie Viard, and there have been many calls for her to create custom designs for the red carpet, and here you have it.

You can’t deny that this is probably one of her Virginie’s best Chanel Haute Couture custom looks to date, even though we only have a very small sample size.

The look was inspired by look 11 from the Chanel Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection for reference, which you can see from the cape, but the looks are night and day from a tweed mini dress to the sleek long silhouette, sequins embellished with micro cc motifs, and the jeweled buttons of this design.

Greta styled her look with Chanel High Jewelry including the Etoile Filante 1932 necklace, the Harmonie 1932 bracelet and the Maud ring.

I think I might even prefer this look over yesterday.

Karla and Greta have really been holding out on us all this time.  This is breath-taking.
