Margaret Qualley joined Hunter Schafer and Emma Stone for the ‘Kinds Of Kindness’ Cannes Film Festival photocall this afternoon.
I can’t say I have ever been too enamoured by the actress in Chanel, as her looks are starting to blend into one at this point.
But this outing from the Chanel Fall 2024 collection caught my eye because of the hat.
An oversized hat can imbue an elegant and retro feel, as showcased by Anya Taylor-Joy upon her arrival to this festival.
But here, my first thought was that Margaret appears to be playing dress up in her mother’s closet.
Factor in how crumpled the hat is and is another no from me, and another plea for the actress try another label.
Either her contract is air-tight with Chanel, or from her style team, there is comfortability to only pull from the label, or lack of creativity in trying other label’s which is stifling her.
