L’Oréal ambassador Viola Davis joined Elle Fanning for L’Oréal’s Lights On Women’s Worth Award during the Cannes Film Festival on Friday.
Known for her affinity for bold colours, Viola showcased grace and beauty in a slightly muted chartreuse Elie Saab gown.
While this look was stunning, it might have been even more impactful at the closing ceremony, where the angelic sleeves could have billowed magnificently on the red carpet of the Palais des Festivals.
Elie Saab is often dubbed the Bling King, but the only sparkle came from Viola’s Chopard jewels.
The Lebanese designer demonstrated that even with modest details, such as the floral embellishments on the shoulders, he can still create a mesmerizing look which shines.
