Hoyeon may have been absent from the photocall earlier today, but the actress more than made up for it with a flawless display on the red carpet at the premiere of her new series, ‘Disclaimer’, during the Venice Film Festival this evening.
As a Louis Vuitton ambassador, Hoyeon has delivered several memorable looks in Nicolas Ghesquière’s designs, but this red embroidered silk bias-cut gown with a draped neckline might just be one of her best yet.
There’s something truly captivating about this look. While some of you might lean toward her more avant-garde choices, like the Victorian-lampshade inspired dress she wore to the 2022 Critics’ Choice Awards, I’ve always preferred Hoyeon’s sophisticated glam moments. And this red carpet appearance is a perfect example of why. The gown’s delicate embroidery and flowing silhouette perfectly complement Hoyeon’s natural elegance, creating a look that feels both timeless and modern.
At first glance, I thought the reflection of the red embellishments had altered her hair colour. But upon closer inspection, it’s clear that Hoyeon has made a deliberate change to a balayage chestnut hue. This new hair colour adds warmth to her overall appearance, beautifully harmonizing with the rich red tones of her gown.
Adding to the ensemble’s allure were the exquisite accessories from Louis Vuitton’s High Jewelry collection. The Galaxie Monogram earrings, set with two princess-cut diamonds and a marquise-cut diamond in white gold, perfectly framed her face, adding a touch of sparkle without overpowering the look. She also adorned her fingers with two L’Elan Vital rings, each set with LV Monogram Star-cut diamonds in diamonds and white gold, from the Bravery collection.
These pieces added just the right amount of luxury and sophistication, enhancing the overall impact of her red carpet look.
