While the press tour for ‘It Ends With Us’ has largely been dominated by Blake Lively’s fashion statements, Jenny Slate, who stars as Allysa Kincaid, Lily Bloom’s best friend and co-worker in the film, made an appearance at the New York premiere on Tuesday evening, which was a rain soaked night at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater.
Jenny embraced the floral theme, donning a Rodarte dress from the Fall 2024 collection. Known for their signature romance and vintage-inspired designs, this Rodarte dress was a fitting choice for the occasion as the delicate floral patterns exuded a sense of timeless elegance and charm.
However, I have a feeling most won’t be onboard with the V-panel accented with white ruffles.
On one hand, it prevented the dress from being overly predictable, adding an unexpected twist to the otherwise classic silhouette. On the other hand, the ruffles gave the dress a somewhat dated look, which might not appeal to everyone.
Overall, I love how this look showcased Jenny’s affinity for vintage romance while balancing out the more flamboyant styles we have seen throughout the tour.
