The mini dress, featuring an elevated hip detail with darts—a 16Arlington design element that has become their signature, but Sophie’s take on the trend felt anything but repetitive.
It’s a testament to how even the most familiar design element can feel fresh when executed with the right vision and craftsmanship.
What I also love about this look is Sophie’s unexpected choice of accessories. Instead of opting for the more predictable stiletto heels or dainty sandals that one might expect with such a dress, Sophie added a playful twist with white socks and embellished Church lace-up shoes.
The contrast between the chic, almost austere mini dress and the schoolgirl-inspired socks and shoes created a fun, youthful vibe that felt completely authentic to Sophie’s persona.
