George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, graced the red carpet for the Venice International Film Festival premiere of ‘Wolfs,’ a comedy written and directed by Jon Watts that reunites George with his old friend Brad Pitt.
While this picture of George might not have captured him at his best, all eyes were undoubtedly on Amal, who stole the show in a stunning Atelier Versace gown.
Everything about Amal’s look was simply breathtaking. If you have grown weary of the endless parade of black gowns this summer, then her choice of a gown in shades of yellow, lemon, and canary is the perfect antidote. The soft lace fabric added a romantic and ethereal quality to the dress, making it a standout on the red carpet.
One of the most striking features of this gown was its corseted bodice, a signature element of Donatella Versace’s designs that never fails to impress. What I love most about this gown, though, is how it feels both new and vintage—a nod to Amal’s well-documented love for old Hollywood glamour. The delicate lace details evoked a sense of nostalgia while remaining undeniably chic.
Amal completed her look with a sparkling Judith Leiber yellow clutch and Aquazzura shoes, adding just the right amount of sparkle to her ensemble without overpowering it.
I’m already very excited about Amal’s press tour.
