Chloe Sevigny Wore Balenciaga To The 'Bonjour Tristesse’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

For some time now, we’ve been concerned about Chloe Sevigny’s style direction, and her latest appearance at the ‘Bonjour Tristesse’ premiere during the 2024 Toronto Film Festival has only deepened those concerns, as it’s safe to say, things have officially taken a turn for the worse.

There’s no point in sugarcoating it: Chloe looks like she’s wrapped in a tablecloth mistaken for a bath towel.

The white Balenciaga Spring 2024 strapless dress, paired with the brand’s signature black pointy boots, is a disaster. The entire ensemble feels awkward and haphazard, and for someone known for her risk-taking, this is a misstep too far.

There are no silver linings here. No clever styling trick or accessory could save this look. It’s simply unworkable and unsalvageable. I can’t fathom what possessed her to wear this, but one thing is clear: this is one of Chloe’s most unfortunate red carpet moments. Let’s hope she course-corrects soon.
