Doja Cat performed her songs ‘Paint the Town Red,’ ‘Attention,’ ‘Demons,’ ‘Say So,’ ‘Woman, and ‘Vegas during the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival held at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday in Las Vegas.
The singer is no stranger to shocking the world with her avant-garde, bold, and sometimes downright bizarre fashion choices. So, when she hit the stage at the festival, no one expected her most shocking look yet: normcore.
Yes, Doja Cat, the queen of reveal-heavy, unconventional outfits, opted for a Dolce & Gabbana double-breasted Martini-fit striped suit, paired with a simple white tank top. The most surprising thing? She looked so… well, normal. Gone were the jaw-dropping embellishments and wild aesthetics we’ve come to associate with her, replaced by a crisp, tailored suit that wouldn’t look out of place in a business meeting.
But beneath the surface, this look feels like a statement within a statement—perhaps Doja Cat wanted the audience to focus more on her music than the visual theatrics she’s known for. It was a subtle but effective shift in direction, one that speaks to her versatility as an artist. As “normal” as this look may have been, Doja still captivated the crowd with her enigmatic stage presence.
Even dressed down, Doja’s stage presence was anything but ordinary. In many ways, this subdued fashion choice only amplified her ability to command attention through her performance, proving that she doesn’t need an elaborate outfit to leave an impact. It was a refreshingly different side to Doja Cat, and yet, she was every bit the entertainer we’ve come to expect.
