Gabrielle Union Wore Prada To The 'Riff Riff' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Gabrielle Union knows how to make a statement, and her return to the red carpet at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival for the premiere of ‘Riff Raff’ didn’t disappoint.

After a series of more understated looks, Gabrielle brought back the flair that I have been waiting for—this time, in a piece that nods to fashion history while making a bold, modern impact.

For those with a keen eye, Gabrielle’s Prada dress was instantly recognisable.

The lipstick print, which first debuted on the Prada Spring 2000 runway, has since become a cult classic, beloved by fans of Miuccia Prada’s playful, art-meets-fashion approach, and represents Prada’s ability to mix the whimsical with the sophisticated, and on Gabby, it felt like the perfect blend of boldness and elegance.

What set this look apart wasn’t just the print, though—it was the dramatic silhouette. The wide flounced skirt added volume and movement, making the outfit feel lively and full of character.

Prada sandals grounded the look with a sleek finish, while her jewelry—Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany earrings, a Sixteen Stone ring, a Tiffany Forever band ring, and a platinum and yellow gold ring with a fancy yellow diamond—added an extra layer of luxury. The combination of timeless pieces from Tiffany and Prada’s classic yet modern design created a seamless look that was both elegant and extravagant.
