Jennifer Lopez made her return to the spotlight at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival this weekend, where she was promoting her new film, ‘Unstoppable.’
Premiere
On Friday, Jennifer wore a Tamara Ralph Spring 2024 Couture silver mirrored dress, secured by black ribbons. While some online have dubbed this her “revenge dress,” that term doesn’t quite fit because this is classic J.Lo—sexy, confident, and powerful, as she fully embraced the style of dress that amplifies her signature sultry look. With matching silver sandals, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Hassanzadeh Jewellery, Jennifer looked nothing short of breathtaking.
In my opinion, she absolutely rocked this daring ensemble, side-boob and all.
Deadline Studio
During an interview with Deadline alongside co-stars Don Cheadle, Bobby Cannavale, Jharrel Jerome, and Anthony Robles, Jennifer traded in her red carpet glam for something more understated. She wore a cashmere green sweater paired with a khaki pleated skirt from the Burberry Fall 2024 collection—perfectly timed for the autumn season. I’ve been critical of Burberry’s direction lately, but Jennifer pulled this off with finesse. Though I wouldn’t have chosen those Burberry Saddle boots, the matching Burberry Rocking Horse bag helped tie the look together. Some will prefer this to the premiere as it is not screaming for attention.
Road to the Golden Globes Party
This Chloé Fall 2024 dress was underwhelming. The dress seemed eerily familiar, as though she had worn something similar before. It wasn’t particularly flattering, and the one-note pale colour palette didn’t do her any favours. Combined with makeup that didn’t quite hit the mark, this was a miss for me.
There are some highs and lows here, but her star power remains undeniable.
