Lily Collins knows how to command attention, and her appearance at the ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 4 Part 2 premiere in Rome was no exception. Held at the Space Cinema Moderno, Lily opted for a Schiaparelli Fall 2024 bodycon gold laminated dress, a choice that felt perfectly fitting for the lead star of this glamorous Netflix series.
The dress, accented with embellished bijoux straps, gave a nod to the timeless allure of high fashion while staying true to Schiaparelli’s reputation for opulence and drama. Some might argue that this look was glam enough on its own, but honestly, you can’t out-glam gold. Lily, in her luminous dress, looked every bit the star of the evening.
However, the fanfare around this particular premiere wasn’t as loud as one might expect. After all, this was the second premiere for Part 2, so naturally, the red carpet might have felt a little more subdued. Yet Lily’s gold dress ensured that she remained in the spotlight, keeping the mood celebratory.
That said, I’m fully on board with this look—from the ankle up. While her sleek black bob added a chic edge, and some might feel it ties in well with her black peep-toe heels, I’m not entirely convinced by the footwear choice. The black heels seemed slightly off when paired with such a striking gold ensemble. A more cohesive shoe choice could have elevated the look even further.
Nonetheless, the Schiaparelli brass bangles she wore added a beautifully sculptural touch, reinforcing the brand’s aesthetic while complementing the gilded glamour of her dress.
Overall, Lily delivered yet another memorable look, balancing understated fanfare with undeniable star power.
