This afternoon, the Venice Film Festival saw a sartorial showcase as Lesley Manville, Omar Apollo, Daniel Craig, Drew Starkey, and director Luca Guadagnino all wore Loewe for the ‘Queer’ photocall at Palazzo del Casino.
With Lesley Manville and Daniel Craig currently serving as the faces of Loewe’s Pre-Fall 2024 and Fall 2024 campaigns respectively, Omar Apollo’s affinity for wearing Loewe on tour, and Luca Guadagnino directing the film, it made perfect sense for the brand to dress this cast. Here is a breakdown down each of their looks and how they brought Loewe’s unique aesthetic to life.
A Carnival of Colour
Lesley Manville wore a Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza dress that featured a carnival of colour with bold prints and clashing patterns, all tied together with the brand’s iconic Anagram logo. The Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza collections are known for their carefree, breezy feel, and this flowing dress is no exception.
Lesley completed her look with Loewe Toy pumps, a Loewe twisted anagram ring, and a nappa twist cuff.

Embracing Loewe’s Balloon Silhouette
Omar Apollo, known for his unique style and love for Loewe, did not disappoint at the photocall. He opted for Loewe balloon khaki cargo pants, which made a statement all on their own. Seeing these pants on Apollo confirmed that they are just as long for the men, as they are for the women.
The earthy, autumnal hues of his outfit were a refreshing reminder that while we might not be ready to let go of summer, fall fashion is just around the corner. Apollo’s look was a perfect blend of casual cool and high-fashion flair.

Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey both chose crisp white shirts as the hero pieces of their looks, demonstrating the timeless appeal of this wardrobe staple. Daniel paired his shirt with jeans and Loewe Flow runners, stepping out of his reputation only wearing tailored classics. However, it was Drew Starkey who stole the spotlight with his styling choices. Drew’s pleated trousers and Loewe Campo Chelsea boots gave his outfit a contemporary edge that felt both fresh and effortlessly stylish.
