This year’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards made history by honouring “The Moms,” a remarkable group of women who have raised some of the most famous figures in the world. Among the honourees were Maggie Baird, mother of Billie Eilish and Finneas, and Donna Kelce, mother of NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce.
They were joined by Tina Knowles, mother of Beyonce and Solange Knowles. Interestingly, if you ask Tina, she will also claim to be the mother of Kelly Rowland.
Given Beyonce’s well-known aversion to red carpets—she typically makes exceptions only for events like supporting Taylor Swift’s concert film release or her own—this picture of the trio together inside the venue was a special moment.
Beyonce, still sporting her platinum blonde hair, which I feel doesn’t do her justice, wore a stunning Sergio Hudson Spring 2025 ensemble. Her look was surprisingly understated for the queen herself, consisting of a simple yellow t-shirt paired with a matching belt and a gold silk skirt. This choice reflected her role as a supportive presence rather than an honouree, showcasing a rare moment of simplicity.
On the other hand, Kelly Rowland brought the drama, serving up a dazzling outfit that melded Motown vibes with an 80s-inspired flair. She donned a striking look from Gaurav Gupta’s Spring 2023 Couture collection, which fit beautifully—much more successfully than the outfit she wore for the SirDavis launch party in Paris.
Seeing Tina standing proudly alongside her daughters, it shows that fashion runs deep in this iconic family.
