The cast of ‘Queer’ has become synonymous with Loewe, and that connection continued to shine at the New York Film Festival. After turning heads and receiving unanimous praise at the Venice Film Festival premiere, the stars are proving their Loewe loyalty is paying off.
At this particular event, only two of the cast members and director Luca Guadagnino—arguably the mastermind behind the Loewe connection—were present. But the trio was more than enough to keep the fashion spotlight firmly on Loewe’s surprising minimalist, yet impactful aesthetic.
Let’s start with Drew Starkey, the new face of Loewe. The actor donned a custom Loewe suit paired with the brand’s signature Campo Chelsea boots. If I had to sum up his style, it would be sleek, refined, and effortlessly minimalistic—qualities that were perfectly captured in his brown suit. His commitment to timeless silhouettes is becoming a hallmark of his red-carpet appearances, and this ensemble solidified his place as a rising style star and one to keep an eye on.

Luca Guadagnino, known for incorporating quirky details into his outfits, took a more restrained approach this time. Dressed in a custom Loewe suit, his look spoke to the power of understated elegance. Typically one to add eccentric touches through an embroidered shirt or blazer, Luca’s choice to embrace simplicity felt fresh.
As for Daniel Craig, the actor showed off a custom double-breasted Loewe suit in a striking shade of green. Though caught with his jacket half undone in a candid moment, the rich colour and sharp tailoring of his outfit still commanded attention. The Loewe Crown Oxford shoes were the perfect finishing touch, making this great look even in its relaxed state.
