Sharon Stone attends the 42nd Torino Film Festival 2024 - Day 1

Sharon Stone graced the Torino Film Festival this weekend, receiving the honorary Stella della Mole award for her extraordinary career of films that include ‘Basic Instinct,’ ‘Casino,’ and ‘Total Recall’ this weekend, which is not to be confused with the Taormina Film Festival, where she received a similar award back in July.

Across three distinct looks, she showcased the breadth of her style, from timeless glamour to contemporary boldness.

Awards Ceremony

Sharon made an unforgettable entrance in a Tony Ward Couture Fall 2024 creation. This silk organza and embroidered tulle gown, drenched in crystals and Charleston-inspired embellishments, was pure theatricality. The cherry wood red hue and the dramatic cape adorned with 3,000 silk organza flowers cemented this as a couture masterpiece. This look was quintessential Sharon—powerful, commanding, and every bit a movie star.

Photocall

Switching to daytime refinement, Sharon opted for a cream-toned ensemble featuring a Lanvin Fall 2024 dress, recognizable for its signature Calla lily print. The look was elevated by a Falconeri cream cashmere coat and matching boots, exuding understated sophistication. With layered necklaces and oversized sunglasses, this look felt relaxed yet perfectly put together for an afternoon appearance.

Day Three Drama

Saving the most daring for last, Sharon closed the weekend in a Dolce & Gabbana ensemble that defied her usual red carpet formula. This oversized tuxedo jacket, paired with a long skirt featuring a puddle train and lace details, was a bold departure from her more traditional choices. While some may find the proportions of the jacket overwhelming, the unexpected silhouette felt fresh and modern. Accessories like black satin gloves and a matching Dolce & Gabbana Marlene clutch added a vintage-inspired edge, while the overall look carried an undeniable elegance.

This final outfit was my favourite of the three. While the Tony Ward gown was classic Sharon, this Dolce & Gabbana look showed her willingness to experiment and step into uncharted fashion territory. It’s a statement piece that commands attention, proving once again why Sharon Stone remains a perennial style icon.
