The 2024 Marrakech International Film Festival kicked off in high style, with Jacob Elordi and Andrew Garfield commanding attention as members of the jury. Both actors stuck to their preferred labels, delivering polished, sophisticated looks across their first two appearances. Here’s a breakdown of their sartorial choices.
Bottega Veneta brilliance with a twist of nonchalance
Facial hair aside—a likely divisive element of his both looks—Jacob Elordi exuded laid-back refinement at the opening ceremony in a Bottega Veneta single-breasted tuxedo. The decision to go tieless added a contemporary edge, while the silver frog brooch from the Summer 2025 collection and sleek Comma ankle boots elevated the ensemble. The look was polished yet understated, though it leaned more casual than celebratory.
That said, I do prefer the “pre-dinner” vibes of his custom double-breasted tuxedo by Bottega Veneta, complete with a bow tie. This feels like the superior outing of the two. It combined classic elegance with Jacob’s signature nonchalant charm.

Classic sophistication meets modern refinement
Andrew Garfield’s Brioni pale sage silk-wool double-breasted evening jacket for the opening ceremony struck a fine balance between softness and structure. Styled with a coordinating silk green shirt, black tuxedo trousers, and Tod’s shoes, the look was undeniably chic. It showcased Andrew’s ability to experiment with colour while maintaining a polished aesthetic.
However, like Jacob, Andrew’s second look surpassed the first. The sleek sophistication of his Brioni ribbed silk shawl lapel evening jacket paired with a silk black shirt, cummerbund, bow tie, and black tuxedo trousers was red carpet perfection. The ensemble’s precision and elevated styling demonstrated his refined taste, making it one of the standout menswear moments of the festival so far. An OMEGA timepiece and Tod’s shoes completed his look.
