I feel like I’ve been saying this consistently for a few years now, but the menswear red carpet keeps getting better each year. Gents like Colman Domingo, Matt Bomer, Andrew Scott, and Eddie Redmayne continue to raise the bar, delivering looks that challenge traditional notions of formal menswear.
Between awards season, the Met Gala, the European Film Festival, and events such as the Academy Museum Gala, we were spoiled with incredible menswear moments in 2024. Designers and stylists embraced creativity, offering fresh interpretations of tailoring, bold textures, and unexpected silhouettes.
It was not uncommon for some of you to say that the men’s fashion often outshone the women’s in terms of style and consistency. From risk-taking patterns to impeccable cuts, it’s clear that the men have truly stepped into their own on the red carpet.
Long may the gentlemen continue to raise the standard year on year. With the momentum we’ve seen this year, 2025 is shaping up to be even more exciting.
