When Ariana DeBose hits the red carpet, a fabric check is instinctual—and this diaphanous chiffon Oscar de la Renta chocolate brown cape gown passed with flying colours. The gold OMEGA timepiece, matching Jimmy Choo Inge sandals, and a Marco Bocelli necklace added just the right amount of glamour to complete her look.
Bewitching in Black
Cristin Milioti’s Rodarte black velvet strapless gown, paired with matching opera gloves, delivered a dramatic gothic vibe. It’s a look that would’ve also suited Christina Ricci. Her choice of Boucheron jewels tied everything together seamlessly.

Glenn Close wore a Balmain Resort 2025 black velvet dress with crystal embroidery—a literal love letter from Olivier Rousteing in his own handwriting. A Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin Loo pumps were the perfect accessories.

Almost There
I’m a big fan of Keri Russell’s style, but my first thought was that this Stéphanie Roland Haute Couture caped coat is a bit overwhelming for her. It could be the hands-in-the-pocket pose which is throwing off the proportions. I wish she had considered a strappy shoe choice, rather than these Aquazzura pumps. While the onyx earrings are tying them in, I’ll never a fan of pumps with a slit.
Hemline Woes
Kristen Bell looked stunning in this Ashi Studio rose gold strapless bustier and skirt with dazzling bugle beads, but that hemline is killing my spirit. REZA jewels completed her look.
Lime Green Delight
Leighton Meester looked beautiful alongside husband Adam Brody, who was nominated for Nobody Wants This. We love a plus one who doesn’t lurk in the shadows, and she was not to be missed in this draped Versace lime green dress styled with Anita Ko jewels.

I was honestly surprised to see Sarah Paulson in Elie Saab, as it’s not a label I would association with her. But considering how much we know about her love for feathers, this Fall 2024 Haute Couture gown was the perfect fit. De Beers jewels completed her look.
