While Ariana Grande charmed London on The Graham Norton Show, Cynthia Erivo made her stylish return stateside for the 2025 Sundance Film Festival Gala Fundraiser in Park City, Utah. With her London looks – that you didn’t really warm to – in her rearview mirror, the actress stepped out in a Dior Spring 2025 ensemble that’s as elegant as it is understated.
The actress, who has been leaning into a darker palette this year (farewell, Elphaba green; hello, Elphaba black), chose a black silk jacket and matching skirt cinched with a sleek black leather belt. While the look could have teetered on basic, the embossed detailing saved it from falling flat, adding just the right amount of texture to keep things interesting.
Cynthia’s accessories played a vital supporting role, featuring earrings from L’Atelier Nawbar and a handful of delicate rings. And of course, she wouldn’t be Cynthia Erivo without her signature towering footwear. Her beloved Christian Louboutin Dolly Boot Alta platforms made yet another appearance, adding height and drama to an otherwise restrained look.
This isn’t a jaw-dropping, show-stopping fashion moment, but it’s undoubtedly a win. Simple, polished, and with just enough detail to keep us captivated. For some, this Dior look will feel like a much-needed sartorial reset.
