The Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch Brunch in Palm Springs on Saturday. While Ariana Grande’s vintage Chanel stole the spotlight, the other attendees also brought their fashion A-game.
Green is still her colour
Cynthia Erivo made it clear that her love affair with green isn’t ending anytime soon. The Wicked star opted for a suede green raglan-sleeved duster coat layered over a lemon jacquard dress. It’s been a while since we’ve seen Cynthia lean into daytime chic, and this look, with its refreshing palette and soft textures, was a welcome sight. If my central heating weren’t on, I’d have said spring had officially sprung.

Ladies who brunch
Selena Gomez brought charm to a classic label, wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress in a striking shade that exuded youthful sophistication. The coordinating Santoni shoes kept the ensemble cohesive, and I appreciate how the look felt both polished and fresh.

Zoe, we need something new
Zoe Kravitz arrived in a black Saint Laurent dress, which had me torn. Don’t get me wrong—Zoe always looks stunning in her minimalist aesthetic, but this was a brunch event. I couldn’t help but wish she’d taken a risk and stepped out of her comfort zone for the occasion.
