Keke Palmer isn’t just in promo mode for her new film One of Them Days—she’s also in full-on fashion mode, serving five distinct looks in New York City over two days.
Good Morning America
Keke’s Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2007 copper dress was a nostalgic nod to the brand’s corset era, and it paired perfectly with her flame-red hair. On-screen, she was a fiery goddess. On the street, though, the look fell short thanks to a bubblegum pink fluffy coat and a white Dior Lady D-Joy bag that clashed with the dress’s rich tones. Imagine this with a chocolate brown or burgundy coat to match those Saint Laurent heels.
The Today Show
Enter rich auntie vibes with her Dior by John Galliano Fall 1998 mint green fur-trimmed jacket and trousers. Keke looked like she stepped straight out of an ’80s soap opera, and I was here for it. This time, her Chloe bag and pale pink Louboutins complemented the look seamlessly.
Watch What Happens Live! Entrance
This leather Hermès skirt and bra top, paired with a Khaite coat, might just be my favourite. It was sultry, seasonally appropriate, and gave us a rare toned down compared to her usual boldness. The teal Alaïa Le Teckel bag added a pop of colour.
Watch What Happens Live! Exit
Keke went classic in a little black velvet Schiaparelli dress, complete with the label’s signature gold lock, eye-catching earrings, and a whimsical eyelashes ring. A chic and playful finish for her evening.
NBC Studios Departure
This morning, Keke wowed again in her second Schiaparelli look—a tartan coat and skirt (previously worn by Selena Gomez) adorned with bijoux buttons. While the runway cowboy boots were skipped (smart move), sleek black boots, a Schiaparelli bag, and a leather baker boy hat kept things polished. This was my second favourite of the tour, perfectly blending drama and wearability.
While there is an element of chaos shifting between retro, sultry, and avant-garde, one thing is for sure, Keke’s vibrant personality shone through them all.
