Charli XCX may have won Best Dance Pop Recording for Von Dutch and Best Dance/Electronic Album for Brat at the 2025 Grammy Awards, but some fans might a little… abandoned. Why?
Because she wasn’t wearing Brat green on the red carpet. Instead, she opted for a grey Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2025 Haute Couture tulle gown, designed by Ludovic de Saint Sernin.
This wasn’t your typical fairy-tale tulle moment. The central slit, plunging neckline, and waist-defining corset gave the look a raw, rebellious edge—one that aligns perfectly with Charli’s unapologetic, rule-breaking approach to fashion and music.

She’s never been one to conform, and this gown was no exception.
As for the black open-toe, cut-out boots? I already know they’ll divide opinion. But if anyone can pull them off, it’s Charli. She’s never been about playing it safe, and that’s exactly why this worked.
For me, this was one of my favourite looks of the night—unexpected, effortlessly cool, and unmistakably her.
