Seeing Naomi Watts posing on the red carpet with an oversized, very well-behaved Great Dane you may have thought, Wait, what?, let me clear things up.
The actress attended the premiere of her new film The Friend, in which she plays Iris—a woman who inherits her late friend’s dog, Apollo (played by this scene-stealing pup). So, yes, she brought her furry co-star along, and yes, she dressed to match.
Naomi opted for a Jacquemus Spring 2025 look featuring a crisp white flared skirt accented with black Mongolian wool details—perfectly mirroring Apollo’s black-and-white coat.
I love a theme, so this instantly won me over. It’s playful, polished, and just the right amount of sophistication without veering into Cruella de Vil territory. Plus, after the sultry moment she served at the New York Film Festival premiere of this same film back in October, this fresh and spring-ready ensemble feels like the perfect contrast.
Rounding out the look were white Gianvito Rossi Ascent slingbacks, keeping things sleek and sophisticated.
