Is there anything better than a New York street-style moment from Naomi Watts?
Her 2024 Good Morning America arrival in Bottega Veneta still lives rent-free in my head, and her Dare I Say It book tour was a masterclass in elevated, effortless dressing. So, naturally, I was excited to see what she had in store for her latest Good Morning America appearance.
While temperatures are finally creeping up in New York, Naomi isn’t quite ready to fully embrace spring just yet. Instead, she eased into the seasonal shift with a light grey linen coat from Lanvin’s Spring 2025 collection—a chic alternative to heavy winter outerwear.
Underneath, she gave us a refreshing nod to spring in a pale blue Emilia Wickstead Clotilde dress from the brand’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection. The midi dress, with its collared, streamlined silhouette, was the epitome of understated sophistication. It’s the kind of dress that doesn’t need flashy embellishments to make an impact—it’s all about clean lines and impeccable tailoring.
She styled the look with her trusty Gianvito Rossi Ascent white slingbacks, which had already made an appearance at a premiere the night before. Completing the ensemble was the Lanvin Concerto Arpège bag and a pair of super-chic shades that gave her a movie-star-on-the-go aura.

But as effortlessly polished as she looked leaving her home, things took a slightly impractical turn once she removed the coat upon arrival. Let’s just say that while the Emilia Wickstead dress is undeniably elegant, it’s not the most car-ride or sit-down-friendly piece.
