Parker Posey Wore Gucci & Palmer//Harding To The Printemps New York Grand Opening Party

Printemps New York has officially arrived, bringing a slice of Parisian luxury to the heart of Manhattan. Located inside the iconic One Wall Street building, this 55,000-square-foot retail paradise isn’t just about shopping—it’s an experience. Think Art Deco grandeur, a kaleidoscope of design, and a perfect fusion of fashion, beauty, and hospitality.

Designed by Parisian architect Laura Gonzalez, the space is a visual feast. You enter through towering Art Deco doors into a world where every detail is meticulously crafted. There’s a multi-coloured marble “Playroom” filled with chic casualwear, an all-day café called Café Jalu, and even a sneaker room lined with LED screens for a next-level shopping vibe. Beyond fashion, Printemps New York offers a beauty corridor spotlighting French brands, spa services, a couture boudoir, a meditation and event space, and even French language classes—because why not pick up some Parisian charm while indulging in retail therapy?

Ahead of today’s official opening, Parker Posey attended last night’s grand opening party, and of course, she served up a characteristically quirky yet sophisticated look. She wore a gold satin belted Palmer//Harding dress that oozed 1940s elegance, layered under a striped fun-fur coat that added more playful retro charm. The Gucci Bamboo 1947 top-handle bag was an unmistakable nod to vintage glamour, while her emerald green Roger Vivier shoes provided a striking pop of colour.

It was an eclectic mix—perfectly Parker and the ideal embodiment of Printemps New York’s fusion of old-world luxury and modern vibrancy.
