Emmy Rossum is bringing back a trend you definitely remember.
There was a time, not so long ago in the mid-to-late 2010s, when you could not escape articles of clothing—from dresses to blouses—with a built-in choker collar. The look stuck around for a bit, but slowly faded in favor of, for lack of a better word, normal necklines.
However, for her appearance on Watch What Happens Live!, a show where Bravolebs and movie stars alike wear their clubbing best to chat and play games with host Andy Cohen, Emmy Rossum wore a long-sleeved white David Koma minidress with a built-in collar and chain necklace that will take you back to the good ol’ days (2017). Rossum paired the dress with a sleek ponytail.

Rossum amped up the ensemble silver drop earrings. For shoes, The Phantom of the Opera star wore silver heels with thin straps. Rossum opted for neutral glam makeup including black eyeliner and a summery pink lip that matched her pink cheeks.
The actress is currently promoting her Peacock series Angelyne, the series loosely based on The Hollywood Reporter‘s 2017 investigative story about the real identity of the infamous L.A. billboard star. To transform the actor into the iconic Barbie-like character, the special effects team used prosthetics and plenty of makeup. Sometimes, hair and makeup would take as long as 7 hours.
After such a grueling job, it’s no surprise that Rossum opts for a more sleek and simple look IRL.
