They say when a woman changes her hair, she’s about to change her life, but Kim Kardashian has already changed pretty much everything about hers over the last 12 months so we weren’t expecting anymore mane re-management.
And yet, in true KK style, the star has managed to shock us all, uploading a picture to her stories just mere hours ago, debuting a peroxide blonde blunt bob. Pretty damn badass, right?

Though hardcore fans of the SKIMS mogul will rightly point out that she recently wore her hair short for an appearance on The Today Show in June, we can confirm that that was in fact a lob (a.k.a. a long bob) and so her latest ‘do still counts as her shortest hairstyle ever.
In the story, Kim can be seen posing with sisters Khloé Kardashian—who is currently expecting her second child with on-off boyfriend Tristan Thompson—and Kylie Jenner, as well as friends Yris Palmer and Anastasia Karanikolaou.
The KKW Beauty founder wears a pair of black shades, a zip-up body which, ironically, she is wearing with the zip-down, and a pair of tracksuit bottoms, though the freshly sliced bob certainly elevates the dressed-down look.
And though the new style is certainly a big change from the extra-long locks she’s been debuting as of late, her new length—sitting just under her chin—looks pretty gorge. And we love the milky ice blonde color she’s been sticking with lately.
Though it’s certainly a different look, we’re not that surprised at the change, as the Kim Kardashian Ferris wheel of hairstyles is ever moving, and the star is certainly not afraid of switching things up.
And we’re here for it, not to mention the fact that it’s a very practical option for the steamy summer ahead. The question is, do we dare follow suit?
