Following the photocall, Olivia Wilde was back on the red carpet for the ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Venice Film Festival premiere on Monday (September 5) in Italy.
The director wore a custom Gucci gown which I’m adding to her Hall of Fame alongside her 2011 Marchesa Golden Globe Awards gown.
Moments like this remind me that Gucci can make floaty and feminine gowns with no shortage of romance.
It’s not granny, vintage chic all-of-the-time.
Made from light-as-air silk yellow chiffon, what sold this look to me are the sparkling silver draped so elegantly over the bodice.
I love this photo as it captures those details in motion and how they highlight her Gucci Hortus Deliciarum High Jewellery perfectly.
All in all, I’m glad she didn’t go all serious on us for this moment.
