Kasia Smutniak attended ‘The Hummingbird’ premiere held during the 2022 Toronto Film Festival at Roy Thomson Hall on Friday (September 16) in Ontario.
The first thing I thought when I saw the Italian actress in this Prada Fall 2022 dress was that she appears to be channeling her inner Katherine Waterston.
Wearing a black dress isn’t exclusive to Katherine Waterston, but the whole look – hair, makeup, styling – made British actress come to mind, especially when Kasia’s look was full of ethereal blush coloured Valentino gowns when she first came to my attention back in 2012.
But that was 10 years ago, and Kasia’s style has clearly evolved to a more streamlined, minimalist style.
It would’ve almost been impossible to have recognised this Prada long sleeve black dress had it not been for the feather accents which are sprouting from the neckline.
It’s such a small detail, but a unique one which elevated this look from just a simple black dress to an intriguing one.
