Today, November 22, Emily Ratajkowski stepped out in New York City in a puffer coat and a pair of skinny jeans that she tucked into her knee-high boots. The footwear in question are a pair of lace-up nubuck leather Timberland boots from a recent collaboration with Veneda Carter (currently retailing for a cool $225).
You wouldn’t be hard pressed to notice that Ratajkowski’s pavement-ready stiletto looks familiar. They’re reminiscent of a pair that Jennifer Lopez wore in the 2002 music video for “Jenny From the Block.” At one point in the noughties clip, Lopez struts out in a pair of Timberland x Manolo Blahnik heels. Since then, the iconic footwear has ended up on Kim Kardashian, and inspired a full footwear collaboration from Rihanna and Manolo Blahink.
